Lipitor is a prescription medicine used to treat problems related to heart. The main uses of this drug include lowering the level of cholesterol in patients suffering from hypercholesterolemia. This medicine helps to reduce the level of triglycerides and bad cholesterol at the same time increases the level of good cholesterol.
